I didn't believe that she would stick to it for more than a few weeks, but she's still sticking to that regimen. I remember it distinctly because I was going to make her a birthday cake the next week and had to come up with an alternative recipe. Since then I've been experimenting with all kinds of vegan recipes to figure out which ones are good and which one's aren't. Guest post from: Steve Delaney For some reason lately, my dog has started barking more than ever. The bark isn’t just a regular bark, it is a shrill. I swear it is loud enough to set off the HOME SECURITY SYSTEMS in the neighborhood! I am just waiting for a knock on the door for my neighbors to complain. When we first started barking like that he was doing it because he wanted in the house. Being an idiot, I let him in a few times when he barked. Now, he wants in the house all the time and barks non-stop. I have been trying to break him of the habit by not opening the door when he demands to get the house. It is so hard though. Eventually, I just give in because his barking drives me absolutely bonkers. I also get anxiety just thinking that the next random phone call is going to be from my neighbors complaining about his barking. I just don’t know what I am going to do! I really don’t want to put a barking collar on him, but I think I may just have to!

As any of my readers know, I love recipes. I'm always on the hunt for my next favorite dish, whether it be gluten free, raw, vegan, etc. I was recently introduced to SpryLiving.com and I wanted to share it with you. It is the online community that goes hand-in-hand with a newspaper distributed magazine. When you first visit SpryLiving.com , you are greeted with a user-friendly page. The colors are calm, and I love the background image of clouds. The font is clear and easy to read. It is a picture heavy site, so it takes a little longer to load on slower connections, but I did not find it bothersome. I am usually not a fan of the dropdown menus like this because they tend to switch to different tabs on accident. This one, however, did not. In my circle of friends, cigarettes are a hot button issue. Zim smokes, as does Hubs. Jayxe, however, has no interest in them whatsoever, and I just quit. Guest post written by Ben Hughes I'm really attached to my kids. They're not even that old yet though and it feels like they're growing up so fast on me! Our oldest one is starting kindergarten this year and I think that she's really going to love it. But it's going to be hard one me, my wife and the younger kids when she's not at the house all the time now. I really went online to find some resources for myself about how to deal with it personally, but then I thought that it might be good to also find some tips on how the kids could deal with it. While I was looking online for that, I ran across the site CLEAR-INTERNET.com . I showed it to my wife and after that we decided to change over our home internet service to it. I did find a bit of parenting advice. I think the best advice that I found was to relax because there are still lots of other firsts to worry about along the way. I thought that was pretty good, so I'm taking it to heart.
